The Eurospec Half Set Fixing Plate is a fixed / dummy spindle that is used to fix a mortice handle or knob in position, generally used to give a solid fix to a handle on a slave door on double opening french doors.

The dummy spindle does not pass through the door like regular spindles.

Instead, it is fixed to the face of the door.

Then, the door handle or door knob can be placed onto it.

The dummy spindle locates into the rear of the door handle and does not rotate, holding the lever or knob in place, and preventing it from turning.
