A striking plate, recessed into the door frame for use with a standard mortice latch or lock.Designed to minimise the resistance standard latch bolts encounter when they make contact with a traditional strike plate. To allow the door closer power to be kept to a minimum and overcome the difficulties that strongly sprung door closer's present.Suitable for FD30/FD60 Fire rated doors.
